Alicate beach is probably one of the most unspoilt on the coast. There is a private path to the beach from the apartment complex. Two popular restaurants are close by on the beach and it is possible to pleasantly walk for miles in either direction along the Mediterranean shore.

Marbella is one of the most popular and prestigious resorts on the Costa del Sol. The town of Marbella (retail therapy in abundance) is 5 km from the apartment, a 5 minute drive or there is a local bus service.

Golfing is at its best as the area is well known for its "micro climate", 300 + sunny days a year! Three clubs (Rio Real, Marbella Golf and Santa Clara) are within a 5 minutes drive of the apartment. A further 12 equally popular clubs are but a 15 minute drive away.

The Alicate Playa complex has tennis courts for the sports folk and the Tennis Academy is a short walk away for the real enthusiasts.

Other places in the locality are Nikki's Beach (5 minutes by car), Los Monteros Beach Club (a short walk away) and Puerto Banus (15 minutes by car) for a taste of the Millionaire Lifestyle.
